Born in 1942, Mr. Wohl was graduated from Dartmouth College in 1963 and the University of Chicago Law School in 1966. From 1967 to 1971, he served in the Judge Advocate General's Corps of the United States Naval Reserve. From 1971 until 1979 he served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, where he was appointed Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division and, subsequently, Chief of the Civil Division. From 1979 to 1984, Mr. Wohl was a partner of Rosenman & Colin. On September 1, 1984, Mr. Wohl joined Messrs. Lankler and Siffert to form Lankler Siffert & Wohl. Mr. Wohl served as the Chair of the New York City Civilian Complaint Review Board, as a member of the Grievance Committee of the United States District Court, Southern District of New York, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the New York Council of Defense Lawyers and the Federal Bar Foundation. In addition, from 1988 through 1992, Mr. Wohl served as the court-appointed RICO Administrator of the Fulton Fish Market. Mr. Wohl has appeared at American Law Institute-American Bar Association and American Conference Institute Programs as a panelist on current developments in criminal securities law and related topics. He also has served as a faculty member in NITA trial practice and civil discovery teaching programs. Mr. Wohl is the co-author an article entitled "Cooperation by Corporations in Government Investigations and Indemnification of Employees' Attorney Fees" (Corporate Counsel Quarterly 1997) and the author of an article entitled "Criminal Aspects of Insider Trading Cases" (ALI-ABA Course Materials Journal 1988). Mr. Wohl is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
