Caleb M.W. Ellis

Caleb focuses his practice on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations, and complex commercial litigation. He represents individuals, executives, and businesses facing government investigations, regulatory inquiries, and high-stakes civil disputes. Caleb has experience conducting internal investigations for corporate clients and preparing witnesses for proffers to federal and state government agencies. 

Before joining LSW, Caleb served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ann M. Donnelly of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He previously practiced at Covington & Burling LLP in New York City, where he focused on white collar defense, government investigations, and complex litigation. Prior to law school, Caleb worked at Powell Tate, a strategic communications and public affairs firm in Washington, D.C., providing support on crisis communications and regulatory matters.

Caleb brings a combination of litigation skill, investigative experience, and strategic judgment to help clients navigate sensitive government investigations, enforcement actions, and commercial disputes.
