Benjamin J. Schwartz
Ben focuses on white collar defense and complex commercial litigation, representing individuals and companies in high-stakes criminal, civil, and regulatory matters across a range of industries. He has significant experience conducting sensitive internal investigations for corporate clients and representing clients in all stages of litigation, including participating in government proffers, presenting witnesses in court, and arguing at a federal sentencing. Ben has represented clients before the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and district attorney offices.
Prior to joining LSW, Ben served as a law clerk to the Honorable Reena Raggi of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and to the Honorable Rudolph Contreras of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Before clerking, Ben was a white collar defense and litigation associate at Covington & Burling LLP in New York City.
