2024 marks the first year Lankler Siffert & Wohl LLP is listed in the GIR 100, a survey of law firms from around the world that profiles “the best firms for companies and executives to call on during high-stakes cross-border corporate investigations.” 

The listing by Global Investigations Review is a recognition of LSW’s command of cross-border white collar defense work, honed over decades of experience providing U.S. legal advice to individuals and corporates in transnational investigations and prosecutions.  LSW joins a short list of small U.S. firms on the list, as there are few boutique practices with a similar depth and range of experience in international cases.

GIR highlighted the experience and expertise of our firm in cross-border investigations and cases, highlighting in particular the contributions of Jillian Berman, Gabrielle Friedman, Charles Spada, Frank Wohl and Helen Gredd.

Based on extensive research, the GIR 100 recognizes those firms from around the world that handle complex cross-border government-led and internal investigations and related settlement negotiations or prosecutions of corporates and individuals. GIR notes that “The survey covers the best investigations practitioners to conduct, defend or advise on investigations work touching every corner of the globe: from large international law firms and consultancies that regularly handle multilateral criminal and regulatory investigations, to the boutiques and regional firms providing jurisdiction-specific advice.”
